Aluminum Hinged Glass Doors
115 120 130 Series Profile Options
Aluminum hinged glass doors can be configured using 115, 120 or 130 series casement-window profiles, with door hardware and seals selected for leaf dimensions, weight and location. Single-leaf, double-leaf and fixed-sidelight layouts combine access, daylight and clear views.
Suitable for balconies, terraces, patios and indoor-outdoor connections when specified with appropriate threshold drainage, weather seals and wind-load design.

115, 120 and 130 identify profile series, not door-leaf thickness. The 1.8, 2.0 and 3.0 mm values are catalog or sample wall-thickness labels, not a guarantee of uniform thickness at every section.
Wall thickness is one structural selection factor. Whole-door strength also depends on section geometry, leaf size, glass weight, connections and hardware capacity. Series numbers alone do not establish wind, acoustic or thermal performance.

G is the catalog glass designation; A denotes a cavity and Ar an argon cavity. 5G+20Ar+5G has a nominal overall thickness of 30 mm. Door use requires confirmation of safety glazing, glazing-pocket compatibility and hardware capacity; window hardware is not a door specification.
Window Ratings and Door Verification
Both window catalogs state wind resistance Class 9, watertightness Class 4, airtightness Class 7 and sound insulation of 25–30 dB. These are window-system catalog claims, not ratings for these hinged doors. Door performance must be confirmed for the actual layout, size and configuration.
Features for Exterior Use
Thermal Breaks and Insulated Glazing
Multi-chamber profiles and PA66GF25 thermal strips interrupt direct heat conduction through the frame. Insulated glazing helps reduce heat transfer through the glass, supporting comfort at balcony and terrace connections.
Weather Seals and Continuous Contact
The catalogs show EPDM gaskets and closed-loop glazing beads. Door seals should maintain continuous contact, especially at thresholds, double-leaf meeting stiles and corners, to limit paths for wind-driven rain.
Drainage and Wind-Load Design
The catalogs illustrate drainage outlets and reinforced mullions. Exterior doors require compatible sill drainage, outward falls, threshold detailing and reinforced connections. Window drainage illustrations are not door-threshold construction drawings.
Hardware Capacity and Finish Selection
Select hinges and locking points for leaf weight and design wind loads. Exterior finishes and hardware should suit humidity, sunlight and coastal exposure. Outward-opening doors also need suitable restraint and clear opening space.
Applications include balcony access doors, patio and terrace glass doors, villa indoor-outdoor connections and daylight-oriented commercial entrances. Exposed, high-rise and coastal locations require project-specific specification.
Door Layouts and Everyday Use
Single Leaf Double Leaf and Fixed Sidelight
Single-leaf doors suit everyday access; double-leaf layouts provide a wider passage when both leaves open. A single leaf with fixed glazing increases the glazed area while retaining access. Opening the leaf allows natural air exchange; airflow depends on clear opening area, wind and room layout.
For exterior applications, coordinate safety glazing, threshold seals and weather-resistant hardware. Confirm color, dimensions, glazing and opening direction before ordering. Promotional images illustrate appearance; final details follow approved order drawings.
Profile Sections and Order Confirmation

115 and 120 original window-section excerpts; dimensions in mm. These illustrate profile geometry. Door frames, thresholds, lock locations and hinge details require separate approval.
